My Gender, my Pride.

Gender equality is a human right, but our world faces a persistent gap in access to opportunities and decision-making power for women and men.

Globally women have fewer opportunities for economic participation than men. Guaranteeing the rights of women and giving them opportunities to reach their full potential is critical not only for attaining gender equality, but also for meeting a wide range of international development goals.

To breach this gap, we all not only the female but also the male gender, need to recognize the challenges that this stereotype has posed on our different spheres of life, then be intentional about change, unlearning and relearning a lot that we have become used to.

Diva Pads is an advocate for gender equality and has continued to demonstrate this will practically through a lot of collaboration with different non-governmental organizations and female empowerment initiatives. On 27th of October 2021, we partnered with the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), and donated 1200 Diva Pads for a corporate social responsibility event themed “My Gender, my Pride” which was set to encourage females on campus develop an impeccable ability to display their intellectual capacity irrespective of any societal negativity.

The contributions of the female gender cannot be undermined, and Diva Pads is still committed to playing its part in creating a society where the female can live up to maximize her potentials without restraints.
