DIVA Sanitary Pads has conducted her first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for 2021.
We partnered with The Endosurvivors International Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO) based here in Lagos.
Endosurvivors are a foundation that strives to raise awareness about endometriosis in Nigeria, an ongoing issue that many of our customers face. We strongly support this cause and advocate the education, research and awareness that Endosurvivors are creating.
The themed events took place between 22nd February and 25th February. We visited five secondary
schools in Lagos State:
1. Ajumoni Secondary School
2. Igbo-Owu Secondary School
3. Bolade Secondary School
4. Unity Secondary School
5. Matori Secondary School.
We were greeted and able to talk to over 1,200 girls across all five schools. The DIVA Team were able to educate the students on the importance of imbibing a clean, safe, and healthy lifestyle especially in 2021 given the COVID-19 pandemic.
We were able to engage them in the topics relating to the menstrual cycle, hygiene, period problems, and endometriosis while gaining insight into challenges they face and access to affordable products. We donated 3,200 units of DIVA Sanitary Pads and 2,600 units of Facemasks
Here are some clips from the CSR.
We loved every aspect of our CSR event, and we are looking forward to the next one!
